JAMMU, Feb 21: A two day CME and workshop for ultrasound guided regional blocks was organized by the Department of Anesthesiology and Critical Care by the Indian Society of Anaesthesia.
Dr. Shashi Sudhan, Principal GMC Jammu inagurated the conference which was attended by over 70 delegates from all over the State.
It is pertinent to mention here that this workshop provided information on why, when, and what’s next, in addition technical skills, and technique updates.
The proceedings of the conference were conducted by Dr Rajesh Mahajan ,organizing secretary and Dr. Naine Bhadrala , Joint Secretary under the guidance of chairperson Dr. Smriti Gulati ,HoD Anesthesiology and ICU .
Eminent doctors from AIIMS ,New Delhi were guest faculty for carrying out the teaching and training programme for use of ultrasound for Regional Anesthesia This will enhance the resource capability of the institute in regional blocks for Anesthesia and pain medicine, enabling the patients to get high qualities facilities in pain management during Anesthesia.
