SRINAGAR, Mar 2: In the ongoing Annual Football Championship two matches were played at Synthetic Turf TRC, here today wherein DFA Budgam and DFA Srinagar emerged winners.
The first match was played between DFA Shopian and DFA Budgam in which DFA Budgam defeated DFA Shopian by 5 goals to nil. Nadeem, Aamir, Junaid and Waris scored for DFA Budgam.
The 2nd match was played between DFA Srinagar and DFA Sopore wherein DFA Srinagar trounced DFA Sopore by 9 goals to one. Arsalan Parray of DFA Srinagar scored 1st hat-trick of the championship, while Aakib and Shaik scored two goals each and Owais and Umair scored one goal each, besides Saliq scored a lone goal for DFA Sopore.
The tournament is being organized by J&K Football Association in collaboration with J&K Sports Council.
