JAMMU, Mar 5: Nagrota Police seized a vehicle carrying bovine animals and arrested two persons.
As per police sources, on reliable information a team from Police Station Nagrota led by SHO Inspector Vishav Pratap Singh under the supervision of SDPO Nagrota Pardeep Kumar laid a naka and intercepted a Mahindra vehicle bearing registration number JK20B-6452.
During checking, police team rescued 4 bovine animals from the vehicle and arrested the driver along with his associate.
The arrested persons were identified as Khalid Ahmed of District Anantnag and Sadam Hussain of Barakh Pouni District Reasi.
A case under FIR Number 80/2022 under Sections 188 IPC and 11 PCA has been registered at Police Station Nagrota and investigation started.
