JAMMU, Mar 6: Mountaineering Association of J&K is going to organise 20th Jammu District Sport Climbing Championship in collaboration with Sprawling Buds ICSE School Bantalab on March 12, here.
The competitions to be conducted on the pre fabricated 40ft high Tenzing Norgay Sport Climbing Wall in Sprawling Buds ICSE School premises shall be held in eight categories of men/ women (born in 2005 and earlier), boys/ girls (born in 2006, 2007 & 2008); sub-junior boys /girls (born in 2009 and 2010) and mini boys/girls (born in 2011 and after), whereas men/women, boys/girls, sub junior shall compete both in ‘lead climbing’ and ‘speed climbing’ and mini boys/girls shall participate in ‘lead climbing’ only.
For further information interested climbers/ institutions should contact the general secretary of the J&K Shawetica Khajuria (7006099855) on or before 9th March. On the spot registration shall also be done at Sprawling Buds ICSE School Bantalab from 7:30 am to 8 am on March11.
