JAMMU, Mar 8: Janipur and Jhajjar Kotli Police arrested two absconders, who were evading their arrests since long.
As per police sources, absconder namely Balvinder Singh, son of Santokh Singh of Purkhoo Camp District Jammu was arrested by Janipur Police led by SHO Inspector Ajaz Haider, whereas another absconder namely Rashid Mohammad, son of Khurshid Ali of Taraha Tehsil Dansal District Jammu has been arrested by Jhajjar Kotli Police led by SHO Inspector Devinder Singh.
Balvinder Singh was wanted in a case registered under FIR Number 08/2008 under Sections 341, 323 and 34 RPC with Police Station Janipur, whereas Rashid Mohammad was wanted in a case registered under FIR Number 140/2021 under Sections 376, 458, 323 and 506 IPC with Police Station Jhajjar Kotli.
Both the absconders shall be produced before the Court for further proceedings.
