BARAMULLA, Mar 10: As part of road safety awareness programme more especially for the educational authorities carrying children in school buses, the Motor Vehicles Department (MVD) here today organised a day long awareness camp at Saint Joseph Higher Secondary School Baramulla in order to educate them about the importance of observing the list of guidelines laid down by State Transport Authority/RTA Jammu and Kashmir.
On the occasion, school bus guidelines were comprehensively discussed and the concerned were sensitized about the directions and guidelines to be implemented by letter and spirit so as to ensure the safety of the school children.
Motor Vehicle Department highlighted the objectives of observing the road safety programme and said that strict adherence of traffic rules is vital to avert any kind of loss that is occurring by violating such guidelines.
Meanwhile, Assistant Regional Transport Officer Baramulla Mubashir Jaan highlighted the aim and objectives of the awareness programme and said that same programmes shall be organised in future that aims to educate different stakeholders about the relevant rules and regulations.
