DODA, Mar 10: Khellani Police arrested a drug peddler and recovered 450 grams cannabis from his possession.
As per police sources, on reliable information a team from Police Post Khellani headed by PSI Aman Sharma laid a naka and intercepted a person, who was moving under suspicious circumstances.
During checking, police team recovered 450 grams cannabis from the possession of the person and arrested him.
The arrested person was identified as Fareed Ahmed, son of Nizam Din, a resident of Trown District Doda.
A case under FIR Number 39/2022 under Section 8/20 NDPS Act has been registered at Police Station Doda and investigation started.
The arrest of the accused person was made under the supervision of SHO Doda Inspector Arun Sharma and SP Headquarters Doda Master Popsy.
