JAMMU, Mar 12: An inter-college online quiz competition was organized today by the Hindi Department of Padma Shri Padma Sachdev Govt PG College for Women Gandhi Nagar under the patronage of Principal, Dr Sangita Nagari.
About 285 students of constituent colleges of Cluster University participated on the topic ‘Hindi Bhasha Aur Sahitya’.
Bhumika Verma bagged 1st position, while Kanika Chib and Kamaljeet Kour of GCW Gandhi Nagar shared 2nd position, besides Tahir Chodhary from Govt MAM College got 3rd position and consolation prizes were awarded to Rohit Arshpreet of GGM Science College and Madhu Gupta from Govt MAM College. The position holders will be awarded with meritorious certificates.
Prof Poonam, Dr Bhagwati, Dr Deepika and Dr Puja of GCW Gandhi Nagar, while Dr Ramesh Bhat of GGM Science College and Prof Seema Kumari from GCoE, Professor Shabir from Govt MAM College and Prof Jasvinder Singh from Commerce College were the coordinators of the event.
Dr Maharaj Krishen Mussa, HoD Hindi presented vote of thanks.
