DODA, Aug 21: Young Star Cricket Club (YSCC) Doda is going to conduct All India 1st Jammu Kashmir Friendship T20 Cricket Championship for peace from August 25, 2013 at Jammu University Cricket Ground, here.
According to Manzoor Ahmed Batt, patron YSCC, teams from 15 States of the country are expected to take part in the tournament and the participating States include Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Chennai, Chhatisgarh, Delhi, Rajasthan, Jharkhand, Madhya Pardesh, Uttar Pradesh, Delhi, Haryana, Gujarat, besides the host State Jammu and Kashmir.
He further said that the aim of the tournament is to spread the message of peace and communal harmony through the medium of sports, besides giving opportunity to outside cricketers and their families to see natural beauty of Jammu and Kashmir State and its communal harmony, which it is famous for.
