JAMMU, Aug 22: To be organized by the Department of Youth Services and Sports, District Office Jammu, the Under-19 boys and girls cricket trials to pick the Jammu District cricket team will be held from August 25, 2013 to August 28, 2013 at GGM Science College Hostel Ground, here.
According to handout issued here, the trials of boys will be held on all four days, while the trials for girls will be held for only 2 days on August 27 and August 28, 2013.
The organizers have advised the players interested to take part in the trials to bring alongwith them a triplicate set of eligibility certificates on the prescribed form of National School Games, duly attested by the head of their institutions, besides original and attested copies of date of birth certificates.
The handout added that no player will be entertained to take part in the trials without the requisite documents.
“Only those players are eligible to take part in the trials, who are born on January 1, 1995 or after,” the handout further added.
