JAMMU, Aug 22: Delhi Public School (DPS), SRML, Air Force School, Jammu, Army Public School (APS) Nagrota, Oriental Academy and Heritage School registered emphatic victories over their rivals in the ongoing Jammu District Inter-School Under-19 Boys Football Championship, being organized by the Department of Youth Services and Sports at Mini Stadium, Parade Ground, here today.
Earlier, APS Nagrota defeated SOS in a close contest by four goals to three (4-3) via tie-breaker, Oriental Academy blanked KC Public School by three goals to nil (3-0), DPS scripted a solitary win over APS Miran Sahib, SRML beat Lawrence Public School by two goals to one (2-1) via tie-breaker and Heritage School got better of APS Akhnoor by a solitary goal.
The matches were officiated by Mohinder Singh, Rattan Lal, Rohit, Kushay, Jyoti and Harvinder Kour.
The tournament is being held under the overall supervision of Tirath Ram, District Youth Services and Sports Officer, Jammu.
