JAMMU, Mar 31: Government of Jammu and Kashmir today constituted a committee for recommending and authenticating closure proposals for all rural based electrification schemes.
Headed by Administrative Secretary PDD, the committee shall examine proposal for all rural based schemes, including DDUGJY (XI Plan), XII Plan, Saubhagya, Addln, Infra under DDUGJY including barbed wire, DDUGJY-New including barbed –wire.
It shall recommend and authenticate closure proposals and proposals of inter projects/component variations for these schemes to REC for consideration of approval/release of funds.
Representative of the Finance Department, Forest, RDD, Revenue and Planning Departments (not below the rank of Additional Secretary) Managing Director JPDCL, Managing Director KPDCL and Managing Director JKPTCL are members of the committee.
