UT girls to play Junior National Football at Guwahati

LEH, Apr 3: UT Ladakh girl football players will play Junior (Under-17) Women’s National Football Championship at Guwahati Assam.
This was announced by Ladakh Football Association (LFA) members in Leh, here today while addressing a press conference wherein LFA Chairman Tashi Gyaltsan flanked by other LFA members informed that LFA got affiliation with All India Football Federation (AIFF) recently and for the first time girl football players getting opportunity to play at National level.
Tashi expressed his gratitude to Member Parliament, Jamyang Tsering Namgyal, CEC Advocate Tashi Gyalson, UT Ladakh Sports Secretary Ravinder Kumar and Union Sports Minister.
LFA vice-president Mohammad Ibrahim, vice president Tsewang Dorjey, general secretary Tsering Angmo, treasurer Lobzang Paldan, coach Stanzin Tsepak and other members also spoke on the occasion and unveiled the official jersey of the team.
Coach Stanzin Tsepak explained the details of the national open trials and all the necessary documents required for the same. Tsepak informed that the open trials will be held in Leh and Kargil from April 4 to 9, followed by national camps from April 11 to May1. Thereafter, the team will depart for Guwahati on May 2.
