JAMMU, Apr 4; Navreh Cricket Club (NCC) and APCC defeated Jammu Royals CC (JRCC) and Sai Baba Club in the ongoing Navreh Premier League played at Country Cricket Stadium Gharota, here today.
In the first match, JRCC made133 runs in stipulated 20 overs wherein Vikram Singh scored 47 runs, while Vinod Kumar made 30 runs and Bobby Pandita and Sanjay Pandita contributed 18 & 17 runs respectively. For NCC, Sunil Dutt and Rakesh Dass took 2 wickets each, while Vikas and Sandeep took 1 wicket each.
In reply, NCC chased the target easily wherein Sunil Dutt made 38 runs and Anil Raina and Jatinder Bhat contributed 34 & 19 runs respectively. For Jammu Royals, Rakesh Bhat claimed 3 wickets, Sanjay took 2 wickets and Sanjay and Vinod claimed one wicket each. Sunil Dutt was declared as man of the match.
In another match Sai Baba CC lost to APCC. Batting first, APCC made 164 runs with the help of Susheetal Dhar’s 54 runs, while Deepak and Anshul contributed 33 & 21 runs respectively. From the bowling side, Rajesh Khatri got 3 wickets, whereas Rajiv Dhar took 2 wickets and Vinod and Sunil took one wicket each.
In reply, Sai Baba Club bundled out at 135 runs in which Shivam made 40 runs, while Sonu Zutshi and Sunil Dhar scored 24 and 21 runs respectively. From the bowlding side, Sunny Bali bagged 3 wickets and Susheetal and Ricky Raina got 2 wickets each. Susheetal Dhar was declared as man of the match.
