REASI, Apr 5: Youngster Cricket Club, Sapience CC Delhi sailed into next level of ongoing Reasi Chenab Premier League (RCPL) by defeating Purmandal Cricket Club and Baghpat CC Uttar Pradesh, played at Sports Stadium here today.
In the first match, Youngster Cricket Club trounced Purmandal Cricket Club by 3 wickets. Batting first, Purmandal CC made 125 runs for the loss of 6 wickets wherein Shiva made 45 runs, while Arun scored 18 and Pawan Singh and Harry Singh (unbeaten) made 16 runs each. From the bowling side, Happy took 3 wickets, whereas Virender bagged 2 wickets and Girish and Rubal Singh claimed 1 wicket each.
In reply, YCC chased the target by losing 7 wickets in which Kamaljeet made 18 runs, while Nitin scored 20 runs and Madassar & Virender contributed 22 and 33 runs respectively. From the bowling side, Pawan Singh took 3, while Suresh claimed 2 wickets and Harry and Shiva bagged 1 wicket each. Virender was declared as man of the match.
In the second match which was played between Sapience CC Delhi and Baghpat CC Uttar Pradesh. Batting first, SCC Delhi made a huge total of 308 runs for the loss of 7 wickets. Lakshay Kundra made 109 runs, whereas Parmod and Vision contributed 33 & 26 respectively. From the bowling side, Nitin got 4 wickets, while Omdutt took 2 wickets and Veeru claimed 1 wicket.
In reply, BCC bundled out at 74 runs in 16 overs wherein Ajit made 17 runs, while Irshad scored 17 runs and Veeru contributed 14 runs. From the bowling side, Deepak, Vision and Arun took two wickets each, while Kamal, Vikas and Parmod claimed1 wicket each. Delhi won the match by 234 runs wherein Lakshay Kundra was awarded with man of the match for his outstanding batting.
