KARGIL, Aug 26: Jawahar Institute of Mountaineering and Winter Sports is conducting various adventure courses for one and a half month in Kargil, which is going on from August 15 and will conclude on September 30, 2013.
The Institute is conducting paragliding and river rafting courses for the unemployed youth of the region and environment camps and special adventure courses for the students of local Government and Private schools.
Apart from promoting adventure in the region, these courses are also being run as trial courses before acquiring buildings at Khurbathang airport and huge infrastructure at Panikhar.
The Principal, Medical Officer, staff and the Instructors of the Institute are presently in Kargil in connection with the conduct of these courses.
