JAMMU, Apr 11: One day free eye camp was organized by The Udhampur Rotary Eye and General Welfare Foundation in collaboration with KLSM Rotary Eye and ENT Hospital Udhampur and Hari Prabhu Sanstha at Gujroo Nagrota, District Kathua.
Medical team from Rotary Eye and ENT Hospital Udhampur led by Dr Ankur Goel (Ophthalmic Surgeon) examined the patients.
In the camp, 135 patients were examined and out of which 35 were screened for implantation of IOL. IOL will be implanted at Rotary Eye and ENT Hospital Udhampur on 23rd April 2022.
The doctor checked up these patients who hailed from far flung areas of Tehsils of Ramnagar, Billawar, Ramkot, Mahanpur etc. the patients who had low vision were given spectacles which were sponsored by Poonam Gupta, wife of Dr KB Gupta clinical specialist.
The management committee members of Hari Prabhu Sanstha who rendered all sort of services included ID Soni Chief Patron, SC Gupta President with other members.
