Jammu, Aug 27: The students of Humanity Public School (Bassi Kalan, Bari Brahmana) brought Laurels to the school by winning 10 medals in the 16th District Jammu Taekwondo Championship-2013.
The Championship was organized by District Jammu Taekwondo Association, under the aegis of Jammu and Kashmir Taekwondo Association.
11 students of HPS participated in it and the medal winners included Vishal Sharma, Neha Jaral and Shefali Atri (all gold); Deepak Kumar, Kuljeet, Mukesh Atri, Nikhil Jaral and Arushi (all silver) and Shivani Sharma and Sanjeev Singh Charak (bronze).
The medal winners were received in the school premises by Gaurav Charak, Principal alongwith Anku Charak, Vice Principal, Pankaj Mehra (coach), Jagpreet Kour (coach), Jagdeep Singh (PTI), Akashdeep Raina (Incharge), Ajay Kumar and the staff members.
