POONCH, Aug 28: The 2-day Science Exhibition, under Inspire Awards concluded at District Institute of Education and Trainings (DIET), here today.
164 models were displayed during the Exhibition.
Mohammad Azam, HoD Zoology, GDC Poonch, NM Suri, Principal and Ashwani Sharma, Research Officer, State Institute of Education (SIE), Jammu were the adjudicators of the event.
Mehak Fatima Bhatt of Christ High School Poonch, Afsana Begum of Middle School Mendhar and Wasim Akram of GMS Saiklu were adjudged first, second and third at elementary level, while Kanan Pragv Raj of SDS High School Poonch, Preet Kour of GHSS Poonch and Atul Sharma of HS Jhulass claimed first three positions in secondary level respectively.
The event was inaugurated by HR Pukhroo, Joint Director Trgs, Jammu, while Ajaz Jan, MLA Haveli Poonch presided over the valedictory function.
Sajjad Ahmed, DDC Poonch and Shamsheer Hussain, SSP Poonch were special invitees on the occasion.
Earlier, Lal Hussain, principal DIET, Poonch presented welcome address, while Vijay Puri read out annual report.
Vote of thanks was presented by Subash Khajuria.
