JAMMU, Apr 19: Explosive batter Rubia Sayed missed century by a whisker, while skipper Sandhya Sayal spun web arround the rival batters and Sheeraza Bano scored a magnificent half-century as Jammu and Kashmir crushed Manipur by a big margin of 110 runs in the ongoing BCCI’s Senior Womens T20 Trophy at ACA Stadium, Barsapara, Guwahati. today.
Earlier, winning the toss and batting first, J&K began on a disastrous note, losing first three wickets without opening the account. Sarla, Bawandeep and Bushra all were sent back to the pavilion without scoring.

For Manipur, Chingkhei M was the only successful bowler, who took 2 wickets by conceding 12 runs in her 4 overs.
In reply, J&K bowlers, led by skipper and off-spinner Sandhya Sayal, plotted Manipur collapse and the team could only manage to score 39 runs in 20 overs, losing 9 wickets in the process, thus Manipur lost the match by 110 runs. Milan Y was the only batter to cross double figure mark, contributing 22 runs off 34 balls, studded with 3 boundaries, while skipper Ganga scored 6 runs.
For J&K, Sandhya Sayal wrecked havoc from the word go and took 4 wickets in her 4 overs by conceding just 3 runs, while Speedster Bismah Hassan bagged 2 wickets. Sarla Devi and Rubia Sayed also claimed one wicket each.
Earlier, in the day-night match yesterday evening, J&K lost to Nagaland by 32 runs. Nagaland scored 125, while J&K was bundled out for 93 runs.
