Delhi, Tamil Nadu, UP clubs script wins

Jammu Aug  29: Delhi Cricket Club ,Tamil Nadu Cricket Club and UP Cricket Club trounced Noida Cricket Club, Punjab Cricket Club and Sidhra Cricket Club respetively in the ongoing All India 1st Jammu Kashmir Friendship T-20 Cricket Championship 2013 for Peace, being organized by Young Star Cricket Club (YSCC) Doda, here.
The first match was played between Delhi Cricket Club and Noida Cricket Club. Batting first after winning the toss, Delhi Cricket Club scored 105 runs in stipulated 16 overs. Ankush was the highest scorer with 50 runs, while Raju contributed 39 runs to the total.
In reply,Noida Cricket Club could not chase the target and bundled out  in 11.3 overs.
From Delhi Cricket Club , Krishna and Sachil took 3 and 2 wickets respectively.
Krishna of Delhi Cricket Club was declared as man of the match for his superb performance.
The second match was played between Tamil Nadu Cricket Club and Punjab Cricket Club  batting first after winning the toss, Punjab Cricket Club scored a total of 126 runs in stipulated 20 overs..Balraj was the highest scorer who scored 37 runs, while Mani contributed 21 runs for his team. From Tamil Nadu Cricket Club ,Kuppy and Ajit took 3 and 2 wickets respectively
In reply, Tamil Nadu Cricket Club Chase the Target in 14 overs and won the match by 8 wickets.Parveen was the highest scorer from Tamil Nadu Cricket Club who scored 94 runs followed by Kuppy who contributed 11 runs for his team. From Punjab Cricket Club Mandeep and Baldeep took 1 wicket each.
Tamil Nadu Cricket Club’s Parveen was declared as Man of the Match for his best all round performance.
Meanwhile, in another match, batting first after winning the toss, Sidhra Cricket Club scored a total of 96 runs. Faisal was the top scorer with 24 runs, while Sachin contributed 11 runs for his team. FromUP Cricket Club, Abhay Sagar and Mandeep took 4 and 2 wickets respectively.
In reply,UP Cricket Club chased the target and registered an easy victory. Omesh was the highest scorer fromUP Cricket Club who scored 36 runs followed by Abhay Choudhary who contributed 30 runs for his team. From Sidhra Cricket Club, Sachin and Faisal took 2 and 1 wickets respectively.
UP Cricket Club’s Abhay Sagar was declared as man of the match for his best all round performance.
Mohd Rafi and Rajinder acted as umpire while, Yasir Dar was the scorer.
Man of the match awards for the best performance was given by Chief Guest,Ranjeet Kalra, Chairman JKCA Media Commettee, and Member State Sports Council and Pardeep Dutta, Beaurau Chief Times Now, TV Jammu.
