SAMBA, Apr 22: Five Vaishno Devi pilgrims who were on way to holy shrine from Amritsar, Punjab were injured after their vehicle met an accident here, today.
Among the five injured two were shifted to Government Medical College (GMC) Jammu for treatment.
Police said one Innova car bearing Registration Number PB01A/6192 which was on its way from Amritsar towards Mata Vaishno Devi Katra when reached near New Bus Stand Samba skidded off the road resulting in injuries to five persons and they were shifted to DH Samba where from two were referred to GMC Jammu.
The injured were identified as Sunny Sharma son of Tirth Ram and his wife
Tara Sharma, Tripta Kalia wife of Ramanand Kalia, Tirth Ram son of Thoru Ram and Adit Sharma son of Rajesh Sharma all are residents of Amritsar Punjab.
