Printers decide to increase printing costs by 20%

JAMMU, Aug 29: In an emergency meeting of J&K Offset Printers Association, here today, the office bearers decided to increase the printing cost from customers by at least 20% in the wake of steep decrease in the value of Rupee.
“Already increase in the price of paper is knocking at our doors and if diesel costs are increased, then it will have effect on prices of ink, freight etc”, the meeting said.
The president of the Association, Pankaj Sethi showed a great concern regarding this. All the office bearers then in a voice vote agreed that they will inform the Association members through each and every way of communication whether it is e-mail, SMS or verbal interaction, to increase their printing costs from customers by at least 20% so that they are saved from this economic crunch. The president vowed to fight for the cause of printers’ fraternity.
Sethi then asked all the office bearers to be ready and take feedbacks from members about the difficulties faced by them so that the problems are discussed in the next meet. The meeting was attended by vice presidents, Harjinder Singh and Sharat Sharma, general secretary, Rahul Mahajan, secretary, Sanjay K Soni, finance secretary, Avnish Anand and joint secretary, Satish Raina.
