Ritu Singh honours achievers of several competitions

JAMMU, Apr 23: Pro-vice chairman of Delhi Public School (DPS) Jammu, Ritu Singh honoured young achievers in a function, held at Hotel Hari Niwas, here today.
The event was presided over by pro-vice chairperson of the School, as well as founder trustee of DPS Nagbani and DPS Katra as a chief guest, while two School alumnae-Neha Mahajan (BJP General Secretary) and Dr Anique Moghal, a medico by profession and a writer by passion were the guests of honour.
Around 70 students of primary, middle and the senior classes were felicitated during the ceremony for their exceptional achievements in the session 2021-2022. They were awarded with mementoes of appreciation for their outstanding achievements in the fields of Art, Music, Sports and Academics.
The event began with the auspicious lamp lighting ceremony, invoking the presence of Maa Saraswati. In her address, Ritu Singh congratulated the students for their achievements during the challenging pandemic times and motivated them further to keep their School’s Flag flying high.
Both the alumni of the School shared with the students the mantra of success taught to them by their teachers at School. Dr Anique also presented the author-signed copybook of his book “Lucid Thoughts” which is available on Amazon and notionpress.com.
Ridhima Bajpai of class 10-A as well as winner of the “Choona Hai Aasman Season-6” grand finale mesmerized the audience with her beautiful song. The Music teacher, Jai Paul too presented a song on demand for the alumnae.
The event was compered by Rupali Sharma, Pooja Pandoh, Tanzeel and Moninder Kour Bhatia, while the event was coordinated by Vivek Nidhi and Neeraj Kaila and the vote of thanks was given by Pooja Pandoh.
