SCC thrashes RCC by 14 runs

JAMMU, Apr 24: Singh Cricket Club (SCC) Akhnoor defeated Rebellz Cricket Club (RCC) Jammu by 14 runs in Friendship Cup, played at Government Higher Secondary School Akhnoor, near here today.
RCC won the toss and elected to bowl first.
Batting first, SCC Akhnoor scored 169 by losing all wickets in 18.5 overs wherein Arush Jamwal (42), Abhinandan Sharma scored 27 runs, while Pankaj Verma and Rahul Manni made 20 and 14 runs respectively and Chandan Sharma and Rahul Mulan contributed 13 runs each. From the bowling side, Sanjog Paul Singh was the wrecker in chief who got 4 wickets, while Anil Bakshi took 3 wickets and Vishal, Prince and Sachin Kumar shared 1 wicket each.
In reply, RCC Jammu made 155 runs by losing all wickets in the stipulated 20 overs. Messi scored 31 runs, while Sanjog Paul Singh made 27 runs and Evendeep Singh and Vishal contributed 21 and 20 runs respectively. From the bowling side, Binny Kesar was the wrecker-in-chief who took 5 wickets and Sumit Pandit, SS Langeh and Arush Jamwal shared one wicket each.
Binny Kesar was declared as man of the match for his outstanding bowling spell.
