JAMMU, Sept 1: The State Level Inter-Division competitions in the disciplines of Taekwondo Under-14 boys and girls, organized by the Department of Youth Services and Sports were held at Indoor Complex, MA Stadium, here today.
The competitions are being held under the overall supervision of Ved Prakash, Deputy Director Youth Services and Sports and Tirath Ram, DYSSO Jammu.
The gold medal in boys section in various weight categories were claimed by Guedev Singh, Neeraj Manhas, Mohit Singh, Pratham, Summit Kumar, Vishvajeet Singh, Achal Sumbria, Mangal Singh, Arun Mehra (all Jammu) and Mehraj from Kashmir division, while the gold medal in girls section went to Vidhata, Heena, Riya Chib (All Jammu), Nusrat, Furkan, Azra, Sabia, Rehana, Kaneez and Toyba (All Kashmir).
The bouts were conducted by Sher Singh, Varinder Sharma, Raman Sharma, Rattan Lal and Harpreet Bhalla.
