NCP will play crucial role in coming Parliament elections: Randhir Singh

JAMMU, Sept 1: Former Minister and State president, Nationalist Congress Party (NCP), Thakur Randhir Singh today said that NCP led by Union Agriculture Minister, Sharad Pawar, who has been a successful Chief Minister of Maharashtra for four times and a very successful Defence Minister of India, will play a crucial role in the coming Parliamentary elections in the country.
He asked the party cadre to strengthen the party in Jammu city and expose the corrupt politicians who have formed a nexus with corrupt bureaucrats, land mafia, contractors and communal elements in the State for vote bank.
Meanwhile, the State president appointed RC Bali, a social activist and NCP leader as District president, Nationalist Youth Congress (NYC), Jammu Urban, with immediate effect.
The decision was taken by the State president in consultation with other office bearers of the Party in a meeting held here today.
In order to organize NCP in a proper way, the office bearers also decided to divide NCP into four zones. The first zone includes Jammu West, which comprised of Janipur, Sarwal, New Plot, Rehari Colony, Toph Sherkhania, Subash Nagar, Bakshi Nagar, Bhagwati Nagar, Krishna Nagar, Talab Tillo, Bohri and Nagrota constituency while the second zone include Raipur-Domana and Nagrota areas. The third zone includes Jammu East Constituency and the fourth zone includes Gandhi Nagar area.
