JAMMU, May 6: NSS unit of the Government College of Education (GCOE) Jammu conducted plantation-cum-cleanliness drive at Government Middle School, Rehari and Sarwal.
NSS Nodal Officer Dr Shubhra Jamwal and Prof Satish Sharma under the patronage of Principal of the College Dr Kulvinder Kour motivated the NSS volunteers and other students to plant saplings in these schools and conduct cleanliness drive.
The event began with the cleanliness drive in the school lawns by NSS volunteers of the GCOE. It was followed by plantation drive by them and staff of the schools.
The event was coordinated by Dr Shubhra Jamwal, NSS Programme Officer along with Prof Seema Kumari, Prof Sarita Dogra and Prof Shapia Shameem Bhatti.
