JAMMU, Sept 3: Four priority sports disciplines of Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports including wushu, gymnastics, archery and shooting have been cleared for participating in the CBSE School Games, out of a list of 10 games.
The decision in this regard was taken in the Core Committee meeting of CBSE at New Delhi, today.
According to general secretary of one of the Associations of these disciplines, the introduction of these games in the CBSE tournaments, will provide much needed opportunity to the players of these disciplines in honing their skill to represent the Country at the highest level.
