Srinagar, Sept 5:Two persons were killed and two others injured in different road accidents today across the Kashmir valley.
A police spokesman said Raja Begum, wife of Mohammad Yousuf Dar of Yaripora, Kulgam, was critically injured in an accident at Yaripora Chowk. Later, she succumbed to her injuries on way to the hospital.
A man, Ghulam Mohammad Ganie who was injured in a road accident at Dialgam in district Anantnag on Monday succumbed to his injuries at SKIMS, Soura, here.
A youth, Parvaiz Ahmad Reshi of Lank-Reshipora was injured when hit by unidentified tractor at Busoo in Bandipora district. Reshi was shifted to Sub District Hospital, Bandipora, for treatment, where from he was referred to SKIMS, Soura, the spokesman said.
Another youth, Asif Ahmad Khan of Dulipora was injured when a Maruti car JK09/9320 driven by Saleem Yousuf Lone of Kulentoora hit him. Injured Khan was shifted to a hospital for treatment.
The spokesman said a case has been registered in this regard.
