JAMMU, Sept, 5: Additional Director General of Police Housing, Dilbag Singh today reviewed arrangements for the hosting of forthcoming 5th J&K State Shooting Championship and District Badmintion Championship in a joint meeting held at Police Control Room, here today.
During the meeting threadbare discussions on various issues related to the smooth conduct of the competitions were held and it was decided that the State Championship (Air Weapon) will be held from September 10 to September 13, 2013 at Delhi Public School Jammu .
Speaking on the occasion, Additional Director General of Police, Housing Dilbag Singh who is also president of Jammu and Kashmir Rifle Association said that Shooting Training Camp was organized in Srinagar in the last week in which students of 13 schools and colleges participated. It was the first ever Camp held in Srinagar at SP Higher Secondary School from August 23 to August 29, 2013
Those who were present included SS Sodhi, Director, Delhi Public School, KS Jamwal, Sr Vice president, JKRA, Taranjeet Singh Tony, Sudhir Kumar, general Secretary, SSP Ahmed Parvez Mirza, Mittal and other members of JKRA and senior police officers.
