JAMMU, Sept 5: Cricket and Lawn Tennis events were held on day-3 of the 44th Regional Sports Meet, being organized by KV No-2 Jammu Cantt, here.
16 teams drawn from various schools of Jammu Region participated in Under-19 boys cricket event, while 5 teams participated in lawn tennis.
In cricket, the first match was played between KV 2 Jammu Cantt and KV Kargil, wherein the former was declared winner.
In other matches played today, KV Jyotipuram defeated KV Nangalkhar, KV No-1 Pathankot got better of KV-3 Pathankot, KV-3 Amritsar drubbed KV Akhnoor, KV-1 Gandhi Nagar lost to KV-2 Jammu Cantt, KV Jyotipuram prevailed over KV-1 Pathankot, KV Kishtwar defeated KV Kargil, KV-3 Pathankot drubbed KV Nangalkhar and KV Kishtwar beat KV Gandhi Nagar.
In the opening match of lawn tennis, Aryan of KV No-2 Jammu defeated Sahil of KV Cantt Pathankot.
