JAMMU, Sept 6: Kendriya Vidyalaya Miran Sahib won Under -14 kho-kho title in the 44th Regional Sports Meet, which concluded here yesterday.
In the final, KV Miran Sahib beat KV Nangalbhur, Punjab by huge margin of one innings and one point.
Earlier, in the semifinals, KV Miran Sahib drubbed KV Damana by one inning and three points and Nangalbhur defeated KV No-1 Akhnoor in sudden death.
In the hardliner, KV No-1 Akhnoor outplayed KV Damana by 2 points and got bronze medal.
Officiating Principal of KV Miran Sahib Samrita Charak lauded the players for this achievement.
12 teams from different KVs of Jammu region participated in the Tournament and the matches were played on league-cum-knockout basis under the supervision of Manjeet Singh TGT (PHE).
