JAMMU, Sept 6: Honnesh Rohmetra of Jammu division claimed gold in Under-19 boys 100 Mtr Breast Stroke and also in 200 Mtr Breast Stroke in the State Level Inter-Division Swimming Competition for all age groups, which concluded at KC Public School Swimming Pool, here today.
Abhishek Badyal of Jammu bagged silver in Under-19 boys 100 Mtr Breast Stroke.
The Competitions were organized by the Department of Youth Services and Sports, under the supervision of Tirath Ram, DYSSO Jammu.
Earlier, in Under-19 boys 50 Mtr Free Style, Ahmed Ikram of Jammu, Kinshuk Safaya of Jammu and Danish Bashir of Kashmir bagged gold, silver and bronze medals respectively, while in Under-19 boys 50 Mtr Butter Fly, Danish Bashir of Kashmir and Kinshuk Safaya of Jammu bagged gold and silver respectively.
In Under-19 boys, 100 Mtr Butter Fly, Shubam Sharma of Jammu bagged gold, while in Under-19 boys 200 Mtr Butter Fly, Kumwar Sethi of Jammu division won gold.
Under-19 boys 1500 Mtr Free Style gold went to Pranshu Kabra of Jammu.
In Under-17 boys 50 Mtr and 100 Mtr Free Style gold was bagged by Sidhant Sharma of Jammu, while the silver and bronze medal in 50 Mtr event went to Nabhaya Saraf of Jammu and Arif Bashir of Kashmir respectively and in 100 Mtr Under-17 boys Free event Ukshay Sharma of Jammu and Sahil of Dar of Kashmir claimed the silver and bronze medals respectively.
In Under-17 boys 50 Mtr Breast Stroke, Arif Bashir of Kashmir bagged gold, while Aditya Gupta and Hardik Khajuria of Jammu claimed silver and bronze medals respectively, while in Under-17 boys 100 Mtr Breast Stroke, the gold went to Showket Ali of Kashmir, while the silver was claimed by Aditya Gupta of Jammu.
Meanwhile, in Under-14 boys 50 Mtr Breast Stroke, Yuvraj of Jammu, Imran of Kashmir and Gandhar of Jammu claimed gold, silver and bronze respectively, while in Umder-14 boys 100 Mtr Breast Stroke, Yawar Abass and Imran of Kashmir division clinched gold and silver respectively, while in Under-14 boys 200 Mtr Back Stroke, Majeed of Kashmir bagged gold.
In Under-14 girls 50 Mtr Breast Stroke, Rohani, Ishan and Anika Gandotra (all from Jammu), clinched gold, silver and bronze medals respectively, while in Under-14 girls 50 Mtr Back Stroke, Shreya of Jammu and Ashmita of Jammu claimed gold and silver medals respectively.
In Under-14 girls 50 Mtr Butter Fly, Anika Gandotra of Jammu struck the gold.
