JAMMU, May 30: A three-month long webinar series titled “Naresh Kumar Memorial Talent Hunt Competitions” conducted by Public Relations Council of India (PRCI) Co-Powered by Public Relations Society, Delhi (PRSD) concluded today.
The concluding webinar was presented by the Kerala Chapter on the topic ”Will the new Gen tech tools enhance the credibility of PR”. MB Jairam, Chief Mentor & Chairman, Emeritus, PRCI spearheaded the entire webinar series and said that the attendees had the opportunity of hearing from PR experts and media students about the strategies and tools that they are using to bring about an awakening on Public Relations and its importance .
K Ravindran, Senior National vice-president, PRCI who was also a member of the jury complimented the participants for their enthusiastic response and said that these types of initiatives by professional bodies will enhance the visibility and shape public perception.

The purpose of the webinar was to identify and select the best Speakers and Moderators from within the PRCI Chapters as well as Young Communicators Club (YCC) across Pan India. In all 15 webinars by various participating chapters across India were held in these three months, about 1200 participants across India took part in these webinars. Students of PR and Journalism colleges, young entrepreneurs, practicing PR professionals and others participated.
The eminent judges for the webinar were G S Bawa (Airports Authority), S Narendra (PIO), Vijayalakshmi (Air India), Dr BK Ravi (Bangalore University), Babu Joseph (S H College),Yogesh Joshi (Tata group), K Ravindran( NTPC), Frederick Michael (SC Rly), Rama Vijay (REC), Vipin Kharbanda (Divya Himachal) and B K Sahu (Calcutta Port Trust).
These webinars were also judged by several noted Celebrity Juries like Tanvi Bhatt, Chandana Ritujit Pai, Sanjay Jog, Ashwini Deshpande, Koral Dasgupta and Sunchika Pandey and others.
