JAMMU, June 2: B. L. Saini, son of the soil belonging to Jammu has been elevated as General Manager in the State Bank of India, the largest bank of India.
B. L. Saini joined State Bank of India as a Probationary Officer in 1995. Right from the beginning, he has shown an unparalleled willingness for challenges and trouble shooting. Not long after joining the bank, he opted for posting in the most difficult terrain of Leh-Ladakh. But this indomitable spirit was willing to serve the poorest of the poor, located at the remotest areas.
He derived his satisfaction in serving the mankind by being a source of their financial liberation of the people living in far flung areas by visiting them personally to sanction credit facilities to them.
After his early venture in the hills, he headed many different branches in Jammu and Kashmir effectively, maintaining the delicate balance between staff and customers. Saini has in his credit working in various capacities in various parts of India including Jammu and Kashmir, Leh-Ladakh, Mumbai and Uttarakhand.
He has been a successful Branch head, unbeaten Regional Head and revered State Head of Uttarakhand State. Presently he is Zonal Head of NCR-Delhi and western part of UP.
Saini exhibits exceptional skills in problem solving, turning every possibility to a well caught opportunity, with just correct proportion of enthusiasm and insight.
Presently, he is the only officer from Jammu & Kashmir and Leh-Ladakh, to have attained the prestigious and coveted post of a General Manager in the largest bank of India.
