DODA, June 2: Police arrested a drug peddler and recovered 200 grams of cannabis from his possession.
As per police sources, during checking a team from Police Station Doda laid a naka and intercepted a vehicle.
During checking, police team recovered 200 grams of cannabis from the possession of the driver and arrested him.
The arrested person was identified as Fareed Ahmed, son of Mohammad Shafi, a resident of Malwana District Doda.
A case FIR Number 112/2022 under Section 8/20 NDPS Act has been registered at Police Station Doda and investigation started to ascertain the source of the consignment and other persons involved in this illegal trade.
