HAMIRPUR (HP), June 6: Information and Broadcasting Minister Anurag Thakur on Monday asked the Congress party leaders to worry about their own party rather than ‘poking their nose into the functioning of the BJP’.
Talking to reporters at a private hotel here Monday , he said big leaders of Congress were seen less in the country and more in foreign countries.
He taunted that Congress was continuously losing state after state and many recently joined BJP leaving Congress party in Punjab, this was the beginning and there was a long queue of big leaders of Congress to join BJP.
Thakur who was here to take part in the state working committee meeting of the party said the BJP constantly works to strengthen the organization and being a party of workers, emphasis was given to the organization of the party.
He said there were BJP Governments in the Central and State Governments, so a strategy would be prepared in the meeting for how the benefits of the Central Government’s schemes should be passed on to the people.
On the Congress’s allegations on the celebration of eight years of the Central Government in Shimla, Anurag Thakur said that the Prime Minister, Narendra Modi had left no stone unturned in serving Himachal in the last four years.
He said the work of giving special status to Himachal was done by the BJP Government and this status was snatched by the Congress Governments.
Talking about the AAP’s role in Himachal Pradesh, Anurag Thakur said Kejriwal’s lies were now coming in front of the public. He said the Delhi government of Aam Aadmi Party was immersed in corruption and a Minister Satyendra Jain has been arrested in corruption. (PTI)
After all, why are corrupt people being made ministers in the AAP Government, he said. He said that within two months of the formation of the Government in Punjab, there were allegations of corruption, then a minister had to be fired and Khalistani people were keeping their words while the famous singer was murdered.
He said that wherever the Aam Aadmi Party Government came, corruption prevails and law and order breaks down.
Anurag Thakur said anyone from the party who could win the election and who was empowered for the ticket would be considered by the party’s top leadership for the ticket.
