JAMMU, June 6: Ace international fencer Vishal Thapar of J&K has been selected to represent India in the Senior Asian Fencing Championship, scheduled to be held at Seoul from June 10 to 15.
As per a handout issued by the Fencing Association of India, Vishal Thapar was selected for this championship on the basis of his performance held at Amritsar wherein he had won individual bronze medal in sabre event.
Nuzhat Gul, Secretary, J&K Sports Council in her congratulatory message praised the efforts of Vishal Thapar for this achievement and wished him best of luck for the championship.
