NOWSHERA, June 8: A youth died after he was drowned in a Nalla in Pukharni area of Lam in tehsil Qila Darhal of Nowshera today.
Reports said the incident took place at around 12.30 pm when one Zahid Hussian (25), son of Mohd Rashid, resident of Nakka Manjari, in Mendar tehsil had gone for bath in Devkass Nallah nerar Pukhrni village. He had come to his in-laws’ house in village Pukherni of Tehsil Qila Darhal.
His farther-in-law, Mohd Bashir, son of Mohd Akbar of Pukharni told police that his son- in- law Zahid, died due to drowning while taking bath in Devkass nala at the village. The dead body was fished out from the Nallah by the locals. The police registered a case and started investigation.
