BATOTE, June 9: Jai Vinay Singh clinched first place in painting competition, while Harneet Kour bagged top honours in symposium, organized by the Department of Environment and Remote Sensing as part of ‘Environment Week’ at St George Higher Secondary School, here.
Hbnat Parveen claimed the second place in painting competition, while the third place was bagged by Syed Suhaib Shah. The consolation prizes went to Jagjit Kour and Muskan Anthal.
Meanwhile, in symposium, the second spot went to Muskan Anthal, while Parpishpa Pargal bagged third place and Ansh Anthal claimed fourth.
VK Raina, Conservator of Forests, the Regional Director, Department of Environment and Remote Sensing, Jammu was the chief guest on the occasion, who distributed prizes among the winners.
Later-on, Jerry Lobo, Manager/Coordinator of St George School presented vote of thanks.
