LEH, Sept 11: Annual function in Kendriya Vidyalaya Leh was conducted in Vidyalaya premises, here yesterday.
The function started at 3:30 pm under the leadership of Principal Dr CBP Verma.
Deputy Commissioner, Leh and Chairman VMC KV Leh, Simrandeep Singh was the guest of honour, while Sarabjeet Singh Sandhu, Chief Engineer NHPC was the chief guest on the occasion.
The function was inaugurated with the lighting of traditional lamp by dignitaries present on the occasion.
The cultural programme started with a welcome dance followed by Saraswati Vandana.
The programme depicted vivid cultural heritage of India which included Rajasthani dance, Ladakhi group dance, Bangra, Kathputli dance, Patriotic dance and Western dance, besides a Play based on the life of Swami Vivekananda.
