UDHAMPUR, Sept 11: Varun Sharma of HSS Kud bagged gold in Under-17 boys 100 Mtr sprint, while Varinder Singh of HS Pachote claimed silver in this event of the 2-day Zonal Level Inter-School Athletic Meet for Under-14 and Under-17 boys and girls, organized by the Department of Youth Services and Sports at HSS Chenani, here.
In 200 Mtr Under-17 boys, Rajinder Kumar of HSS Kud bagged gold, while the silver went to Bisharat Ahmed of HSS Chenani, while in 400 Mtr Under-17 boys, Romesh Singh of HSS Chenani and Vijay Kumar of HS Sewna clinched gold and silver respectively.
The competitions are being held under the overall supervision of Usha Kumari, ZPEO Chenani, while prominent among others present on the occasion were Prem Chand and Pawan Kumar.
