LEH, Sept 11: Senior Under Officer, Priyanka Choudhary, a student of BA Part-II, Government Degree College (Boys), Kathua was awarded best prize for Master of Ceremony in special National Integration Camp (SNIC) organized by 1 J&K Girls Bn Srinagar at Leh recently.
She also won first prize in the team event ‘Tug of War’. Five Cadets of NCC Infantry Girls’ wing of GDC Kathua namely Priyanka, Alka, Reeta, Poonam and Akashi got an opportunity to attend Pre NIC Camp at Leh. Two cadets Priyanka and Poonam were selected for SNIC. They participated in various cultural and sports events. In this camp, cadets got exposure and opportunity to interact with NCC cadets from various parts of our country.
Principal of the College, Dr Nater Singh Raina attributed their success to Dr Anupma Arora for proper guidance and training to the NCC Cadets from time to time.
