JAMMU, Sept 12: MLA Bimla Luthra today convened a meeting of women workers at village Pascal in Bishnah block and listed to their general grievances related to drinking water, electricity, old age pension etc.
The NC MLA assured the people to take up their issues at appropriate level for the redressal and said that Omar Abdullah-led Government was always available to help common masses, particularly poor and down trodden.
She also inaugurated a cutting and tailoring centre at village Pascal and asked women to take benefit of the Government schemes for economic upliftment and empowerment of women.
Those who accompanied the MLA, included Veena Oberio, Bharti, Prito, Radha and others.
