KC Public celebrates Hindi Divas

Students of KC Public School Jammu during the celebration of Hindi Divas on Friday.

JAMMU, Sept 13: KC Public School celebrated Hindi Divas with great enthusiasm and fervour through a cultural programme in the School premises here today.
Manisha Sharma, Hindi Officer at Radio Kashmir Jammu was the chief guest on the occasion, while well known announcer of Radio Kashmir Jammu, Sunita Bhagat was also present on the occasion.
The programme began with a speech highlighting the importance of Hindi in the country, which was followed by musical rendition of dohas and bhajans of Kabir, Surdas and Meera Bai to highlight the contribution of eminent poets of the Bhakati Kaal towards the development and advancement of Hindi literature.
Group recitation of two inspirational Hindi poems was presented by the students on the occasion.
The programme concluded with a graceful Kathak dance performance by senior girls on Meera Bai’s ‘Tum Bin Moro Kaun Khabar Le’.
Speaking on the occasion, Manisha Sharma impressed upon the audience to feel sense of pride in their National Language.
