REASI, Sept 13: Zonal level science quiz 2013 was held at Govt. High School Nagar (Zone Pouni) under the aegis of Zonal Education Officer Pouni in the collaboration with the management of G.H.S Nagar.
In all 18 participants representing various schools of the zone along with their escorts participated in the event with great enthusiasm.
Earlier, the event was inaugurated by Harish Kumar Dubey, Zonal Education Officer Pouni.
Mohd Arif of class 7th and Nazia Akhter of class 7th representing GMS Jadh got 1st prize, Vipul Singh (class 8th), Tarun (7th) of MS Beriliar got second prize, while MS Talwara,MS Kans Brahmana,HS Nagar shared the third prize. Medals/Trophies, Certificates of merit and participation were given by the Chief Guest on the occasion.
Earlier, in welcome address Sanjeev kumar Sharma CRF of Talwara Cluster threw light on the aims and objectives of the Quiz which is to develop scientific aptitude among the students. Anuradha and Prasanta Devi adjudged the event.
Haji Mohd Younis,Headmaster H.S Nagar presented vote of thanks. Those who helped in the smooth conduct of programme included Manjeet Singh (President Reasi JKLTF), Rajinder Khajuria, Mohd Arif, Jagdish Raj Vijay Lakshmi, HM Beriliar, Rajinder Kumar, Preeti Sharma, Kamaljeet Kour, Kusum Lata, Anil Kumar, Kirti Bhushan, Ayoob Khan, Rakesh Sharma and Sanjeev Sawhney.
