DODA, July 7: The 4th Coordination Committee meeting of various stakeholders of justice delivery system for district Doda was held today at Dak Bungalow under the chairmanship of Principal, District & Sessions Judge Bhaderwah Virender Singh Bhou.
The meeting was conducted as per the directions of the Chief Justice, High Court of J&K and Ladakh and was attended by Deputy Commissioner Doda Vikas Sharma, Senior Superintendent of Police Doda Abdul Qayoom, Additional Deputy Commissioner Bhaderwah Dil Mir Chowdhary, Chief Judicial Magistrate Prem Sagar, (who is also Secretary of Co-ordination Committee), Deputy Director Prosecution, Executive Engineer PWD (R&B) Doda, District Social Welfare Officer Doda, EO MC Doda and EO MC Bhaderwah.
Various agendas pertaining to ways and means for effecting efficiency and timely rendering of justice to the litigants, infrastructural, and other difficulties faced by Judicial Institution and other stake holders of district Doda were taken up in the meeting. Threadbare discussion and methodology/action to be taken within specified time limit were also considered in the meeting.
Besides, the modalities of co-ordination between Judiciary, Civil Administration and Police Administration were discussed to implement various legal awareness schemes in the District. The DSWO Doda was asked to strengthen the Juvenile Justice Board and One Stop Centre in the District.
CMO Doda was instructed to set in place mechanism of issuing Disability Certificate by the Competent Board only.
It was also resolved in the meeting that the difficulties faced by the stakeholders shall be worked out in the time bound manner.
