TSPC, Tral, Awantipora, Nawdal Committee’s plea to SASB

JAMMU, July 31: The Temples and Shrines Prabandak Committee (TSPC) Tral, Awantipora and its constituent Navdal Tirath Committee, Tral have jointly appealed Lt Governor, Manoj Sinha and Mahant Deependra Giri Ji, the sole custodian of holy Mace of Swami Amarnath Ji to hold the culmination cum concluding ceremony in connection with Shri Amaranth Yatra at the holy shrine of Navdal Tirath in Tral as per the original text of Amarkatha narrated by Lord Shiva to Bringesh Rishi.
The president of the TSPC Tral -Awnatipora , Dr Ramesh Bhat said the place is also known as Patali Ganga as per Lord Shiva’s directive, the Yatra has to be culminated at Nawdal by doing the Visarjan (culmination) of the stick and footwear at Nawdal, followed by Rudra Mhaabishek of Lord Shiva at the holy place.
The Committee is repeatedly requesting to SASB, Mahant Ji and Lt Governor to heed to the request for culmination of Yatra at Nawdal Tral. “We appeal to Lt. Governor to personally intervene in the pressing matter to follow the rituals and tradition which was started from times immemorial as per the directions of Lord Shiva in letter and spirit as per Shastras and Snatan Dharma.The appeal was released jointly by TSPC and Navdal Tirath Committee who are linked with the highest Tirath yatra from centuries.
