Day long District Judo C’ship concludes

JAMMU, Aug 4: Day long Reasi District Judo Championship concluded at SMVD Stadium, here today.
About 130 participants participated in the championship, wherein Ashwani Katoch Chairman Amba Kids School Panthal was the chief guest.
The bouts were officiated by Danish Sharma NIS coach, while Manish Chatwal Black Belt Judo Instructor was the organising secretary. The championship was organised by Reasi District Judo Association under the aegis of Judo Association Jammu Kashmir and J&K Sports Council.
In U/10 (18 Kg), Elima Choudhary (Gold) and Lakshmi (silver), in 22 Kg, Nidhi Sharma, Kanika Bhagat and Divya Manhas clinched top three medals, while Sonakshi Nagotra also won bronze, in 48 Kg, Komal Rani and Shreeyash bagged gold and silver.
In U/10 (20 Kg), Mudasir Ahmed, Vishal Kumar and Mohd Omasis won top three medals respectively and Anirudh also shared bronze medal, in 25 Kg, first three medals were won by Balwan, Adnan and Divyan, while Asif clinched bronze, in 30 Kg, top three medals were secured by Shahid Akhter, Nitin and Rahul Singh respectively, while Rohit Kumar won bronze, in 35 Kg, Sohail Raja, Mishavi Haq and Shahzaib Akhter won top three medals respectively and Gautam Prince also won bronze medal.
In sub junior girls (36 Kg), Sehaj, Pooja and Vanshika won top three medals, while Sonia Choudhary also clinched bronze, in 40 Kg, Safina. Akshara and Yogita secured top three medals respectively, in 48 Kg, Shivani Devi won gold, besides in sub junior boys, 30 Kg, Shivyam Verma, Ajay Singh and Surjeet won top three medals respectively, while Harivansh also clinched bronze, in 35 Kg, Anshuman, Ankit Singh and Vansh Singh bagged top three medals, while Sumit Kumar also clinched bronze, in 40 Kg, Vansh Singh, Vipul Thakur and Pranav took top three medals, while Samar won bronze also.
In 45 Kg, Chanderdeep and Adhi Verma won top two medals, in 50 Kg, Amarjeet Singh won gold, in 60 Kg, Tushar Sharma clinched gold, while in plus 66 Kg, Bhanyani Partap Singh secured gold, in 60 Kg, Nitin Kumar won gold, in 66 Kg, Lucky and Abhay clinched top two medals, in 73 Kg, Vishwas Jamwal and Lucky Bhagat secured top two medals, in 81 Kg, Gourav Bhagat won gold, in 90 Kg Tarun Singh (Gold), in 100 Kg (Gold), plus100 Kg Saimlog (Gold).
In cadet boys 50 Kg, Mukesh Kumar, Saqiti Raja and Aakrshit Jamwal won top three medals, while Aftab Khan secured bronzed also, in 55 Kg, top two medals were clinched by Shubam Dogra and Bilal Sarwani, in 60 Kg, first two medals were won by Sunil Kumar and Naresh Singh, in 66 Kg, Prikshit Singh (Gold), in 73 Kg Lucky Bhagat (Gold) and in 81kg Madhav Singh (Gold).
